Search this category and most of what comes back is American. The tools assume a US broker, quote prices in dollars, and integrate with Alpaca, Interactive Brokers or Webull. Plenty of them will happily take a UK card at signup and then leave you unable to connect the account you actually own. It is worth checking three things before you pay anyone.
This is the one that catches people. A tool that lists ten integrations and none of them is your broker is useless to you regardless of how good it is. If you use Trading 212, check that specifically rather than assuming a long list covers it.
A tool built for US equities may not handle LSE listings, GBP settlement, or the London session at all. Ask which venues it supports before the subscription, not after.
Marketing a trading product to UK consumers is a financial promotion under FSMA section 21. An overseas tool advertising guaranteed returns into the UK is not one you want holding a key to your account.
blank was built for Trading 212 first rather than adapted to it, because Trading 212 is where a large share of UK and EU retail investors already are. It trades LSE, NYSE and NASDAQ. Prices are in pounds, the default risk settings assume a GBP account, and the product is offered in the UK and EU rather than translated for them.
Other Trading 212 venues such as IBIS and Euronext are on the list for a later phase and are not supported today. That is a limitation worth stating rather than glossing.
A Stocks and Shares ISA is a UK construct and many US-built tools have no concept of it. Trading 212 exposes API keys for both the General Invest account and the Stocks and Shares ISA, so an integration built for that broker works with either. SIPP accounts are not supported by the API.
FX is the other one. Buying US stocks from a GBP account converts currency in both directions, and a strategy that ignores that can spend its edge on conversion. blank's position sizing accounts for the account being denominated in pounds.

Only if it connects to a broker you can actually open and hold. Many will accept a UK card at signup and then offer no integration for your account. Check the broker list before paying, and check that it handles your market and currency.
