blank
the founder

blank has a name on it.

Software that places trades with your money should not be run by an anonymous landing page. Here is who builds blank, why it exists, and what it will never do.

Who

blank is built by Milo, the founder of Certified Random, an independent UK software studio. One person is accountable for every decision in the product: the trading logic, the pricing, the security model, and every word on this site.

Certified Random builds and ships its own products end to end. blank is the studio's flagship: the product Milo wanted to exist and could not buy, so he built it. You can see the rest of the studio's work at certifiedrandom.onrender.com.

Why blank exists

Retail trading has a time problem. Doing it properly means reading earnings, watching feeds, tracking filings, sizing positions and managing exits, every market day. Most people either give it their evenings or give it up.

"The interesting part of trading is the decision. Everything around it is work. I wanted the decision made well and the work gone."

Large reasoning models made a new kind of product possible: not a rule-based bot with "AI" in the marketing, but an agent that reads live evidence each cycle, decides, acts, and can explain itself afterwards in plain English. blank is that product, built for the broker UK retail traders already use.

The promises it's built on

Your money stays at your broker

blank never takes deposits and never custodies funds. Trades happen inside your own Trading 212 account, and a Trading 212 API key cannot withdraw money.

No performance marketing, ever

You will never see a projected return, a cherry-picked backtest, or a testimonial promising profit on this site. Trading involves risk; some months lose. We show you the process and let you judge it.

Aligned fees

Commission is a flat 5% of realised profit, charged only when your month ends up. If the product does not perform, it earns almost nothing beyond the plan fee. That is deliberate.

Every move explained

Each trade is journalled with its reason, and the chat answers "why?" with the evidence it used. If the advisor cannot explain a decision, that is a bug.

Your data is not the product

The plan fee and commission are the business model. Your journal and config stay on your machine; nothing is sold or shared. Details in the privacy policy.

Where blank is today

blank is in open beta: desktop app on Windows and Mac, iPhone app as a live remote, Trading 212 as the broker, UK and EU only. It is deliberately small and deliberately transparent. The status page shows live system health, the update log shows what shipped, and Trustpilot is open for your verdict, good or bad.

Judge the product, not the pitch.
